Dust pesticide, diatomaceous earth:

The fossilized remains of diatoms is in a dust form. The bed bug's body is cut when encoutering the dust particles causing the bed bug's waxy cuticle to dehydrate and die. The dust is used in conjunction with a pesticide application.

Croygen freeze gun:

To kill bed bugs that are visible, nitrogen oxide is sprayed from the gun and freezes the bed bugs immediately.

Thorough vacuuming:

Bed bug eggs are sometimes on carpets and can be attached to the wall also but be care full not clean out the vacuum cleaner very thoroughly before using thoroughly before using in the next room as you can spread the problem.

Searching for bed bugs:

Looking in the possible hiding places and physically removing them.

Wash all bedding and fabric items:

Sunject to hot water and hot tumble drying all clothing, bedding and linen in hot water or hot washing machine, it is a good way of killing bed bugs and their eggs not visible.

Professional heat treatment:

No methods is 100% but probally the best method of treating your home but is quite expensive. A large heating machines is placed in a particular room, raising the temperature of the room's interior for a few hours. Killing any hiding bed bugs deep in the furniture.

Discarding suspected items:

The one method that is 100% effective is the most simple solution to get rid of bed bugs. Discard any furniture or items suspected of having bed bugs hidding in them. There will be no possibility of whether there are bed bugs still hiding in the item or not. Seal in plastic bags and take to the local land fill, do not leave lying around in your gardern for weeks.

Canine bed bug detection:

A dog used to sniff for hidding bed bugs is not a proven system but it cannt do any harm in trying. Yes the dog can find maybe some bed bugs but there still could be one or two more hidding somewhere else.

Encasing your mattresses and couches:

An effective and simple system to stop bed bugs from getting into or out of your mattress or couch. This helps to eliminate items of furniture from your possible suspected infestated list. Bed bugs inside your mattress, bed base or couch will be trapped in the encasement. The zips are the most important part of the encasement system that is why one mattress protector will be much more expensive that another one.

Freeze in a scientific refrigerator:

Place suspected items in a scientific specified refrigerator that can go to more than -30C for a few days. Bed bugs can survive at leat to -20C, as evidence found in seasonal log cabins suggest, bed bugs survivng -20C in the log cabin and the still alive for the seasonal toursit to arrive.

Abandon your property for 18-24 months:

Another 100% guaranteed method is have your home seal up to an extent and leave it for between 18-24 months or to move to a new home completley and to have your old placed in storage sealed in plastic for 18-24 months, all the bed bugs will die of starvation. Make sure there is no birds or animals while you are away as the bed bugs can feed on them in the meanwhile.

Carbon dioxide gas:

Some companies can use carbon dioxide gas to kill bed bugs as bed bugs need to breath now and again. But is dangerous and not many caompanies use it.

DDT:

DDT was a very effective chemical used to kill bed bugs but was banned do to killing other organisims in the food chain. Cynande gas was also used to kill bed bugs in the past dropping a cyaninde pellete in a saucer of acid would kill bed bugs but is far too dangerous and is obviously not legal now.
